Emergency Water Supply Project – North China
A 12 km DN1200 water pipeline required crossing complex geology. We supplied X42 spiral steel pipe, 10mm wall thickness, meeting ASTM A53 Gr B. External 3PE coating and internal epoxy powder were applied with beveled ends. Field weld pass rate reached 98.5%, and hydrostatic testing passed on the first attempt. Compared with seamless or LSAW pipes, the spiral design shortened delivery time by 20%, allowing water flow 15 days ahead of schedule, securing clean water for 300,000 residents.
