A1: Both are N80 grade in API 5CT. N80‑1 is normalized & tempered; N80Q is quenched & tempered. N80Q has more uniform grain structure, better collapse performance and more stable mechanical property for deeper well. Same yield / tensile range, different heat treatment route.
Q2: Can N80Q be used for sour gas wells with H₂S?
A2: No. N80Q has no SSC resistance requirement. For sour service, please select L80, C90, T95, C110 sour grades.
Q3: What threads can you supply for N80Q casing?
A3: Standard BTC buttress thread; we also supply LC, semi-premium and full premium connections (VAM TOP, Hydril etc.) as buyer's drawing.
Q4: What documents will you provide for customs clearance?
A4: MTC mill test certificate (EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 optional), API monogram certificate, packing list, invoice, B/L, SGS/BV/CCIC inspection report on request.
