What standards do your SHS hot-dip galvanized rectangular steel tubes comply with?
The steel base material meets ASTM A106 / A53, while the sectional dimensions follow BS standard for SHS square & rectangular hollow sections. Mill test certificates and galvanizing inspection reports are available for export inspection.
How is the weldability? Will welding damage the galvanized layer on site?
ASTM A106/A53 carbon steel features good weldability for cutting, drilling and field welding. Local zinc coating will be burnt off at welding spots. We recommend zinc-rich touch-up painting after welding to maintain overall anti-corrosion performance.
