High Strength & Lightweight Design

Yield Strength: 235 MPa → 1100 MPa (grade dependent)

Tensile Strength: 400 MPa → 1250 MPa

Benefit: Reduce plate thickness by 15‑30% under the same load – lower structure weight, material cost, and freight.

Excellent Low‑Temperature Toughness

Impact energy (Charpy V‑notch, longitudinal): ≥ 47J at -20℃ down to -60℃

Applications: Arctic bridges, wind towers, LNG tanks, polar equipment.

Process: Calcium treatment & inclusion shape control; grain size ASTM 10 or finer.

Superior Weldability

Carbon Equivalent CEV: 0.32 – 0.45 (depending on grade)

Cold cracking sensitivity Pcm: ≤ 0.25

Advantage: Allows high heat input (up to 50 kJ/cm) with low or no preheating – no cracking after welding.

Surface & Anti‑Corrosion Options

As‑rolled / Black | Shot blasted | Primer coated

Weathering steel: Pre‑patinated stable rust layer – no painting needed, service life 4‑8 times longer than carbon steel.

Galvanized / Coil coated: Hot‑dip galvanized, PVDF or polyester paint – custom RAL colors.
