Features
* API 5L SSAW Steel pipe is produced by spirally forming steel coils into a cylindrical shape and welding the seam using the submerged arc welding technique from both inside and outside. This method ensures deep penetration and a high-quality, uniform weld.
* Large Diameter can be produced by SSAW (max to 3000mm)
* Cost-effective: Different from LSAW pipe which is produced from a whole plate with big width by longitudinal welding, SSAW is produced from steel coil in 1000 or 1500mm width by sprial welding , SSAW is Cost-effective
End Preparation and Surface Treatment
End Preparation: Pipes are supplied with plain ends or beveled ends ready for field welding.
Surface Condition: Available as bare (black) steel or with various protective coatings such as oil, bitumen, or 1-3 layer polyethylene (PE) external/internal anti-corrosion coatings based on project specifications.
Marking and Packaging: Standard API marking or custom marking is applied. Packaging is typically in bulk or bundled, with protective plastic caps on pipe ends
