API 5L Grade X46
Grade X46 denotes a minimum yield strength of 46,000 psi (approximately 317 MPa). This grade offers an optimal balance between strength, toughness, and weldability, making it suitable for a wide range of pressure conditions.

Product Specification Levels (PSL): Available in both PSL1 and PSL2.
PSL1: Standard requirements for chemical composition and mechanical properties.
PSL2: Enhanced requirements including stricter chemical composition controls, higher notch toughness (Charpy V-Notch testing), and more comprehensive non-destructive testing. PSL2 is recommended for harsh environments or high-pressure applications.
Chemical Composition: Controlled levels of Carbon, Manganese, Sulfur, Phosphorus, and micro-alloying elements to ensure weldability and resistance to hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) and sulfide stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) when required.
Manufacturing: LSAW Technology
LSAW pipes are produced using advanced longitudinal submerged arc welding technology. The manufacturing process involves the following key steps:
