Hot-dip Galvanized Carbon Steel GI Pipe

Our hot-dip galvanized carbon steel GI pipe is specially designed for oil and industrial fluid transfer. Made of premium mild carbon steel, the pipe undergoes hot-dip galvanizing treatment on both inner and outer surfaces. The zinc coating forms a strong metallurgical bond with the steel substrate to deliver long-lasting corrosion protection. Developed for low-pressure oil service, it solves common pain points of bare carbon steel pipes such as rusting, pipeline blockage and secondary contamination of oil media under humid and outdoor conditions. Widely adopted in oil storage depots, oilfield surface auxiliary lines, refinery auxiliary piping, industrial fuel supply systems and outdoor oil transmission networks, it acts as a reliable and cost-effective pipeline solution for oil handling projects.

Full internal & external hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion

Both inside and outside of the pipe are fully galvanized with uniform, compact zinc coating that resists peeling. Internal rust prevention reduces rust debris mixing into oil and keeps oil clean. External zinc layer protects against rain, moisture and mild soil corrosion, extending service life and lowering maintenance & replacement costs. Zinc coating weight can be customized, normally ≥220g/㎡.

Excellent mechanical strength & pressure resistance

Base material Q195/Q235 carbon steel features good toughness, impact resistance and deformation resistance. ERW welded pipes have stable weld quality. The pipe can operate continuously under low oil pressure, withstand vibration and minimize leakage or burst risks for depot and factory fuel supply.

Flexible fabrication & multiple connection options

Suitable for threading, cutting, beveling and welding. Easy to assemble with matching galvanized fittings. No extra on-site anti-corrosion work required, greatly shortening construction time and reducing site work complexity.

Manufactured under international standards with complete documents

Produced in compliance with ASTM A53, BS1387. Full size range from DN15 to DN200. OD, wall thickness and cut lengths are customizable. Material Test Certificate (MTC) is supplied for overseas tender, third-party inspection and project acceptance. ERW galvanized pipe as standard; seamless GI pipe available upon request.

Clean fluid delivery & less media contamination

Passivated galvanized surface rarely generates rust particles. When conveying diesel, lubricating oil and low-pressure crude oil, it reduces oil contamination and protects downstream equipment.

High cost efficiency for large-scale pipeline networks

Compared with stainless steel and coated composite pipes, GI pipe has lower capital cost and simple maintenance. It is ideal for large oil pipeline networks and branch lines in storage yards.

Every batch is inspected for dimension, appearance, hydrostatic test and zinc coating test. Zinc coating features strong adhesion and will not peel under bending or impact. Pipes are bundled with end caps to protect pipe ends and zinc layer from damage during transit, ensuring intact delivery to project sites.
